Welcome to the unique art experience of Art In My Garden!
Visit our annual collaborative, one-day art exhibition in the gardens of historic Oakville, Ontario. Enjoy a stroll in the picturesque neighbourhood of old Oakville and discover original art from 70+ artists across 30+ garden locations.
Our free, non-commercial (no-sales) event is a celebration of our creative community - a gift from local artists to bring joy to your day. Take part in art activations for all ages, meet the artists, be inspired by the stories of their work, and enjoy being part this celebration of creativity and community.

The vision of including as many artists of all ages, experience and ability at the Art In My Garden event has been realized though Hanging in Harmony - our community outreach project.
In 2025, over 250 individual artworks were created and displayed in the gardens of the Oakville Museum. They shared our various perspectives based on a suggested theme. Together, the resulting artworks were woven with belonging and rooted in community.
Within 12 months they have been shown in public twice, including a 4 month display at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community Cultural Centre, amplifying the sense of community from the event.

We need volunteers! Every year our volunteers help us in August by hand delivering our event flyers to homes across Oakville. It’s a great opportunity for students to pick up community hours or for local residents to help out on the day.
