We need volunteers!
Every year student volunteers help us in August by hand delivering event flyers to homes across Oakville.
Adults and community members help with the communith art activation and on event day.
This is a great opportunity for students to earn community service hours, and for both students and adults and to get involved with the art community in Oakville and meet other local members.

Community hours awarded to all high school students from Grade 9 upwards (entering grade 9) . If you’re a local student or an Oakville resident who wants to help out, fill out the form HERE.
Note for students you need to check emails! OR add the email that will be checked on time and regularly.
Examples of how you can help :
Pre-event volunteers August 1-19th: Online required (1 volunteer) : Help us online by sending admin emails and contacting local press agencies
Pre-event volunteers August 19th-31st: Walking required (up to 8 volunteers in each ward, great for a team or organized group): Hand deliver our flyers door to door. We aim to deliver within every Ward so as many people as possible hear about the event. This can be done any time of day.
Pre-event volunteers August 23, 30 and Sept 6 (dates to be confirmed): Interaction and talking required (5-6 volunteers per day): Support with community art activity in Downtown Oakville Towne Square. Involves setting up materials and helping run the activity.
Event day volunteers Sept 12th: Interaction and talking required (15 volunteers, great for a team or organized group). Assist artists to set up, hand out maps, gather numbers of people, help with interactive art activity
