Capturing Light in Nature: The artistic journey of Kimberly Bell Schols.
An artist who works with acrylic and mixed media, Kimberly has a passion for capturing light in nature. Growing up in northern Ontario, she developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and a love of nature’s creatures. In her work, Kimberly explores the interconnection between light, colour and mood with her favourite subjects. Kimberly’s work is in private collections and she has exhibited with the Oakville Art Society, Waterside Art Group, Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre, Neilson Park Creative Centre, McMichael Art Gallery in Canada, plus the Verdes Art League and the Fountain Hills Art League in the U.S.A. Kimberly is also committed to the exploration of art as a healing modality, and after completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, she is now studying Art Therapy.
