Renata Chubb is an emerging Intuitive Expressive Painter, and a registered Expressive Arts Therapist born in Bermuda, with teen years in British Columbia, and the Bahamas, finally settling in Ontario. Renata now lives, works, and creates in Oakville and Burlington, Ontario, exploring the importance of self-inquiry and self-expression.
Craving unfiltered expression, colour, and motion, Renata dove farther into her drawing and painting as a way to balance out the effects of the digital world. Renata has an appreciation and fascination with creative expression, and our ever changing creative process – the human desire and need to create. How we create?
Why we create? What we individually each get out of the process, as well as what happens when we don't take the time to create freely.
She believes stepping into acts of creating, whether through visual, textural, movement, sound, cooking, gardening, building or play, engaging in these acts are crucial to maintaining our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wholeness.
