Our free, non-commercial (no-sales) event is a celebration of our creative community - a gift from local artists to bring joy to your day. Meet the artists, be inspired by the stories of their work, and enjoy being part this celebration of creativity and community.

I'M AN ARTIST

Last year we launched a vibrant, community‑built installation as part of Art in My Garden—a new way to include the wider community both before and during the event.

We called it ‘Hanging In Harmony’

Hanging in Harmony was conceived as a way to include as many people as possible in the joy of Art In My Garden. Over 250 individual artworks were created and hung as a visual expression of our perspectives -woven with belonging, rooted in community.

What started as art in our gardens grew into something deeper—connections, conversations, and a community in full bloom.

We need volunteers! Every year our volunteers help us in August by hand delivering our event flyers to homes across Oakville. It’s a great opportunity for students to pick up community hours or for local residents to help out on the day.
