SONIA ILLNER
Sonia is a watercolour and gouache artist originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Having lived in Europe over a decade and the last 14 years in Oakville, she is inspired by the many cultures and landscapes she has lived in and travelled to including Southeast Asia.
Creating from a young age using acrylics and oils, as well as pottery and photography, she picked up watercolours three years ago as a personal challenge. Embracing the medium with the same love she has for travel and fashion, she left her job as a stylist to focus exclusively on her art and never looked back.
