If you live in Oakville (i.e you’re a resident here) or you create art/ work as an artist in Oakville you can apply. We genuinely would love to include everyone - our guidelines help us to stay on track.

The application form ‘Artist Agreement’ for 2024 says “ 1. I am an artist and I currently live in, or create art/ work as an artist Oakville, Ontario.” so if you fit that brief, please apply.

As our waitlist and applications have grown we allocate places to artists who live in Oakville before artists who ‘create art'/work as artists’ in Oakville.

The Art In My Garden vision is to serve as an accessible and inclusive art experience that supports emerging and established artists living in Oakville. We will do this by developing community relationships across Oakville and actively collaborating with established groups that serve our community.
