SUSAN HOELTKEN

Returning to her love of painting after moving to Oakville, she honed her artist skills and graduated from the Fine Arts program at Sheridan College. Throughout the years, she has taken numerous art courses and personal instruction from various professional art organizations.

She continues to evolve as an artist, changing and always absorbing.

" I have always been drawn to the interplay of colour, light and shadows; especially how colour evokes emotion, energy and movement. My subjects are often the people and places in everyday life - children sledding down a hill in winter, portraits of friends, family and still life floral arrangements which can be arranged to create an original perspective."
